Kate Spade, Frye, and Corinne Bailey Rae

My favorite shoe maker and bag maker are both having huge sales now. And Corinne Bailey Rae created a podcast for her new album!

The Kate Spade Surprise Sale ends at midnight tonight. I purchased a beautiful overnight bag--the Remington Place Felipa, marked down to $189 from $598. Also, I've been bullet journaling and needed a 2017 planner so I was happy to get the Mikas Pond organizer marked down to $89 from $198. It's a nice leather holder that I can continue to update as the years pass.

Shoes! I got a new winter boot. The Frye Company is taking an extra 25% off already marked down prices. I grabbed the last pair in my size of the Karen Lace Up Tall. I have a shorter version of the very similar Kendall Lace Up and love them in the Fall so I'm looking forward to a taller boot to keep more of my legs warm this winter. I also got a pair of ballet flats--I like the pointed toe and built-in hidden wedge of the Alicia Ballet.

Also new to my shoe collection is a pair of forest green, patent leather Doc Martens.

That bit of shopping was most of what I needed to add to my wardrobe this year. If I come across a sale of nice wool socks or warm base layers I might not be able to resist though :)
