Uniqlo and Turtleneck Season

Last year I figured out the trick to lasting through Fall and Winter, when the temperature is cold outside but toasty inside, is layering. This year, I found the perfect shop for those essential layers--Uniqlo. I wish I could say I came across Uniqlo on my own because I've really fallen for the brand, but it was a suggestion from a Toronto native.

I'm not sure how Uniqlo engineers its Heattech collection, but it's pretty close to magical. Super thin, ultra-warm, comfy, and durable. The tops work well as base layers or look great alone. I'm thin but boobsy and it can be tricky to find a top that actually fits, but these Smalls have just the right amount of stretch and fit perfectly. I especially like the turtlenecks and V-neck cuts. Can a turtleneck be sleek and sexy? Yup.

Seriously, amazing. There's a sale going on now--perfect timing, btw--and tops and tights are $8. Did I mention the brand's affordability?
