I've had my eye on these babies for a while, but since I already owned a pair of wireless Bose headphones I couldn't justify buying another. Yesterday, I lost those and instead of wallowing in despair--which I did for a couple of hours--I transferred a bit of dough from my savings, drove to Indy and splurged on the Bose QC35 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones. Because you only live once, right? After one night, I really like them. I'm already noticing some differences. I owned the SoundLink on-ear Bluetooth headphones for about 2.5 years and loved those. The range was amazing--by that I mean I could roam around my apartment and never have any interference or lose connection. I need to keep my device closer with the QC35. Also, my Soundlinks were on-ear not around-ear. I actually hate the feel of the around ear, they make my ears sweat and push my glasses up. That's something I'll have to get used to.
And a more personal issue is that these definitely put you in your own bubble. They literally create a seal around your head that works to block out the world and it's noise and allows you to live in whatever experience you can pump through speakers. Most of my friends already think I live in my own place and time, so I guess I'm about to be unbearable.
Hugs and kisses peeps,
Bethany
