I finally got around to watching Anthony Bourdain's trip to Thailand and was so happy I had added Chiang Mai City to my list of places to visit. The way he describes eating there--that he lived his life in black and white until experiencing Thai cuisine, then began seeing in color--is exactly the type of experience I look for when I travel. It's really what I look for in any new experience and it's why I'm so curious. I love that about myself.
Thailand will be my first trip to Asia and I can't think of a better destination. I can't wait!
