Just a quick update--I'm going to do a henna treatment for my color, specifically Lush's Caca Rouge
henna hair dye. One of the things that I didn't mention about my finer strands is that in addition to being less curly, they're also a reddish-brown color. I like the Rouge color in the summer because though it doesn't have much of an effect on the majority of my hair--a mix of black and dark brown strands, it gives those already reddish strands a more vibrant color that's perfect for summer.
Lush's henna treatment is moisturizing and healthy hair friendly, and I think it's a good idea to stick with something gentle for now.
